Hello Archers,
Les Archers Perrotdamois is looking to welcome 3 new directors to our team.
Our Club is growing and would like to expand its offering. We strive to be the benchmark when it comes to quality installations and member experience. Help us in achieving this goal! Join an easygoing but passionate group of volunteers who make sure our beloved Club runs smoothly.
You will have the opportunity to:
-Voice your ideas and opinions to the Club’s directors as a peer.
-Make a difference in the daily experience of your fellow archers.
-Lead your own projects or events with the Club’s support.
-Have a meaningful impact on the future of archery on Île-Perrot.
-Contribute to the growth of one of Québec’s premier archery clubs.
We understand how busy life can get, and promise to respect your availabilities.
You would simply have to:
-Attend and participate in online meetings to discuss Club management (6-8 meetings / year)
-Participate in the Club’s annual general assembly (1 evening / year)
-Take on specific and limited tasks, any others tasks to be performed on a voluntary basis.
-Help out your fellow volunteers when possible.
The following positions are available:
Director of Equipment and Materials;
in charge of making sure the Club has all necessary tools and equipment for general upkeep and repairs.
Keeps inventory and ensures the proper maintenance and storage of said tools.
Performs general maintenance and repair tasks.
Helps out other directors with their tasks when available.
Director of Restauration;
in charge of purchasing, preparing and distributing food and beverages during Club events (such as tournaments or major works involving volunteers).
Keeps inventory of foodstocks and cooking equipment and ensures their proper storage.
Helps out other directors with their tasks when available.
Director of Promotion and Publicity
to work closely with the president to bolster the Club’s popularity.
Would help in managing our social media pages, and with suppliers, sponsors etc.
Represent the Club at local community events.
Helps out other directors with their tasks when available.
N.B.: Les Archers Perrotdamois is a not-for-profit organisation. As such, all directors are volunteers and are not paid by the Club to exercise their functions.
